This workshop will focus on understanding the factors that limit upper extremity recovery following stroke, with particular attention to the role of hypertonicity during active movement and its impact on treatment planning. Participants will explore practical strategies for integrating upper limb function into gait and daily activities, while gaining hands-on experience in techniques to manage hypertonicity and improve active and passive range of motion in the shoulder and hand.
