Basic Bobath – R25 800.00

Join our Basic Bobath concept Course and build the confidence and clinical skill to transform your work with adults following stroke. You’ll explore the history and ongoing development of the Bobath Concept while learning to integrate the principles of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) into assessment and treatment. The course will deepen your understanding of the functional consequences of central nervous system lesions and strengthen your ability to analyse posture, movement, and abnormal function during real-life activities. Through practical, hands-on learning, you’ll develop effective handling skills, apply principles of motor control, motor learning, and neuroplasticity, and enhance your clinical reasoning to link assessment with meaningful, individualised treatment. Designed to support evidence-based practice, this course equips you with the tools to adapt interventions to each person and measure outcomes that truly reflect functional recovery.
