Dysphagia is present in a large percentage of the patients seen by speech therapists – so come and learn another exciting skill. After a revision of the anatomy and physiology of swallowing, you will learn about general muscle physiology, basic joint concepts, fascia and postural control as well as the principles and techniques involved in manual release techniques. Want to know a bit about k-taping – well then this course is for you: a more holistic management of the person presenting with oropharyngeal dysphagia will be yours for the taking.
